The Caribbean webmall Isle-7 has launched an online business skills training programme for its vendors.  Developed by Barbadian educational software developer ezlearner in conjunction with The Caribbean Export Development Agency, the programme is aimed at developing a curriculum of critical business management skills for export oriented Caribbean businesses.  Noting that The Caribbean abounds with an immense of talent and innovation, VP Business Development Byron Gibson said that the company regards the ongoing development of vendor partners to be a cornerstone of their busines model and a key element in their success formula.

Demonstrating a social committment to both its vendors and shoppers, Caribbean webmall Isle-7 today launched the Fair Trade Caribbean initiative aimed at ensuring their retail offering is compliant with globally accepted labour and trade practices.  The initiative, developed in conjunction with The Caribbean Association of Small to Medium Enterprises, was launched by direct mail to its customers hours before the company hosted a press conference in Barbados.  VP Business Development Byron Gibson said that the Isle-7 Fair Trade Caribbean initiative is consistent with their brand positioning as a company that chooses to guided by the highest corporate values and ethics.
